EXPLORING THE WORLD WITH RESPONSIBILITY AND AFFECTION
EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION IN VALUES:
The emotions in children arise progressively as they grow, are scheduled for biological form. Thus, little by little, you produce the cognitive development and the child's awareness of their own emotions and the emotions of others. When they arrive at 4 years old, the children realize that people have different things that he feels, they begin to empathize with the other.
In the emotions of children, the self-esteem plays a key role, depending on how it is developed, the child will be about feelings or others. Little by little the child is becoming aware of that your emotions and their actions must be within certain limits in some occasions, and to do this, education in values is essential, which goes hand in hand with the emotions and the control of the same.
In our kindergarten, before the start of any academic process, we focus first on the emotional development of each of our children, making this emphasis the main focus of their comprehensive training, instilling values as a fundamental pillar in a society constantly changing and demanding in other ways.
Children will improve their emotional development as personal relationships go, maintaining, and these are mainly with their parents and family. It is very important how to act older in front of the children, as they learn from what they are told, but also what they see, therefore, it is imperative to behave properly in front of them.
DISCOVERY OF THEIR INTELLIGENCES:
The theory of multiple intelligences in children of Gardner proposes that the activities that are raised in class to respect the abilities of each child. That is to say, in the education of each child evolves with their own needs, therefore, they can not teach the same way. It is necessary to take into account the different intelligences to configure your education, since the capabilities of the children do not form part of a single skill called intelligence, but that these abilities depend on many intelligences that work in parallel and that are often ignored. That is why it is so important to know a little about the features of each of the intelligences of which we focus on in our kindergarten:
- LINGUISTIC-VERBAL:
This type of intelligence defines those persons who are skilled and have preferences for activities such as: reading, chatting, telling jokes, writing stories, do daily, write poems, learn languages and play word games.
LOGICAL-MATHEMATICAL:
Your ability of solving problems is very striking and is often associated with a type of nonverbal intelligence, that is to say, that one can know the answer to a particular problem long before you have spoken.
INTELLIGENCE NATURALIST:
Are those who enjoy getting out into the countryside, camping, hiking, take care of animals, to know details of the nature, recycle, caring for the environment.
SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE:
This type of intelligence refers to the ability of solving spatial problems. Are people with abilities such as: drawing, painting, doodling, reading maps, view pictures or paintings, solve mazes, play games of construction.
MUSICAL INTELLIGENCE:
Are children with innate ability for the learning of different sounds, which is going to evolve into a great ability to sing and hum, listening to music, playing instruments, composing songs, attend concerts, follow it, or mark rhythms.
INTELLIGENCE BODILY-KINESTESICA:
It is also innate, only that some are able to develop it more in depth. Are those who are good at: dancing, acting, imitating gestures, or expressions, to do sports, to run, to move, jump, etc
INTRAPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE:
Are those who work independently, set goals and how to achieve them, they know themselves better, understand their feelingsknow your strengths and weaknesses.
INTERPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE:
Contrary to the treated previously, the intrapersonal. Those that are good at: talking, working as a team, helping others, mediate conflict, to meet new people.
So knowing the characteristics of each of the intelligences, and of each one of our children, all the activities aim to develop the main objective is for each child to discover and enjoy what is its potential and exploit it to the fullest.
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING:
Learning is a process that allows us to acquire knowledge, values, skills, behaviors, new... learning is the result of study, instruction, reasoning, observing, and, above all, live. We can learn in multiple ways and, in addition, there are different types of learning.
The experiential learning is that meaningful learning is achieved through the action and experience, that is to say, in the very act of living. Away from the classical concept or a more traditional learning, the more mechanical, involving rote memorization of concepts, but not the fact of living things in your own skin.
This type of processes is the same as learning through experience, where the error is a strategy or guide to improve and analyze the next step will be and the successes confirm that you are going for a good process and that it should promote the development of this aspect.
In our Garden Child care are not only aimed at the physical aspect but the mental and emotional which allows our children to be people of analytical, critical, proactive and more goal-directed from an early age.
